This exceptional and rare ammonite fossil is a prime specimen of Durotrigensia dorsetensis, unearthed from the prestigious fossil site at Burton Bradstock on the UK’s Jurassic Coast. Encased within the Inferior Oolite Formation, this fossil represents the ancient marine environments of the Middle Jurassic period, specifically the Bajocian stage.
