An exceptional fossil from the ancient past — this 5-inch Spinosaurus tooth fossil is a formidable specimen from one of the most iconic theropod dinosaurs ever to live. It was excavated from the renowned Kem Kem Beds in the Tegana Formation, part of the Kem Kem Basin of southeastern Morocco. This fossil dates to the Aptian stage of the Early Cretaceous, approximately 113 to 100 million years ago.
