This listing is for a stunning 6″ Procerites procera Fossil Ammonite, discovered by our expert field team, Alister and Alison, on 30 April 2025 along the world-renowned Jurassic Coast at Burton Bradstock, Dorset, UK. This exceptional specimen comes from the Inferior Oolite Formation, part of the Middle Jurassic geological record.
Procerites procera is an extinct ammonite species known for its broad whorls, prominent ribbing, and involute coiling. It belongs to the:
