This impressive 8″ specimen of Bigotites thevenini is a stunning example of a Middle Jurassic ammonite, discovered on 30 April 2025 by our dedicated field team, Alister and Alison, at Burton Bradstock on the Jurassic Coast, Dorset, UK. It has been professionally cleaned, prepped, and treated by Alison to highlight its striking morphological features.

The fossil is preserved in limestone from the Inferior Oolite Formation, a well-known Middle Jurassic marine deposit. The photo shows the actual specimen you will receive, with a 1cm scale cube included for full sizing reference.
