This remarkable fossil was uncovered on 21 September 2024 by our team member Alister and has been expertly cleaned, prepped, and treated by Alison.
Ammonites were marine mollusks that thrived during the Jurassic period, around 190 million years ago. Androgynocerasis known for its finely ribbed, coiled shell, while Tragophylloceras is distinguished by its sleek, symmetrical form.
