This listing features a 1kg British Fossil Mix containing 21 individual fossil specimens, collected from classic Jurassic sites in Dorset and Somerset, United Kingdom. These counties are internationally recognised for their rich fossil heritage and long history of palaeontological discovery, preserving marine life from approximately 190–170 million years ago when much of southern Britain lay beneath a warm, shallow sea.

Discovery, Preparation, and Provenance

This fossil mix was personally discovered by our own team members, Alister and Alison, on 01 December 2025 during responsible field collecting at established Jurassic fossil localities in Dorset and Somerset. After collection, each specimen was cleaned, prepped, and stabilised by Alison, ensuring the fossils are safe to handle, study, and display.
