An exceptional Kepplerites galilaeii fossil ammonite, hailing from the Aalenian Stage of the Middle Jurassic Period, discovered in the renowned Cotswold Water Park region of Gloucestershire, United Kingdom.   • Species: Kepplerites galilaeii
  • Age: Aalenian Stage, Middle Jurassic (~174–170 million years ago)
  • Location: Cotswold Water Park, Gloucestershire, UK
  • Morphology Features: Moderately involute shell with finely ribbed whorls; ventral area smooth with well-defined keels; characteristic of the genus Kepplerites
  • Family: Graphoceratidae
  • Superfamily: Hildoceratoidea
  • Order: Ammonitida
  • Zone: Possibly within the Bradfordensis or Murchisonae Zone (commonly associated with Kepplerites)
