This exceptional Ludwigia murchisoni fossil ammonite is a fine example of a Middle Jurassic marine cephalopod, discovered by our field team members Alister and Alison on 30 April 2025 at Burton Bradstock, along the iconic Jurassic Coast in Dorset, UK. The fossil has been professionally cleaned, prepped, and treated by Alison to enhance its natural detail and structure.

This ammonite comes from the Inferior Oolite Formation, a Bajocian-aged limestone unit famous for its fossil-rich marine deposits. You will receive the exact specimen shown in the photo, which includes a 1cm scale cube for accurate sizing.
