The fossil has been meticulously cleaned, prepped, and treated by Alison, revealing the stunning natural architecture of this elegant Jurassic ammonite.
Lytoceras is a genus of ammonite known for its smooth, planispiral shells with wide whorls and complex suture patterns. This particular species, Lytoceras fimbriatum, is a graceful representative of Jurassic marine life, dating to the Early Jurassic period.
