This is a rare and well-preserved Adskinsia bosquensis fossil nautilus from the Albian Stage of the Lower Cretaceous (~110 million years ago). It was discovered in Greatness Lane, Sevenoaks, Kent, United Kingdom, a classic fossil locality known for its marine Cretaceous deposits.

Adskinsia bosquensis is a nautiloid cephalopod with a characteristic coiled shell that is relatively smooth, unlike ammonites which exhibit intricate suture patterns. This species lived in the warm, shallow seas of the Cretaceous period, preying on smaller marine organisms.
