This rare and beautifully preserved Garantiana longidens fossil ammonite is an excellent example of Middle Jurassic marine life, found in the Inferior Oolite Formation of the Jurassic Coast. Discovered on 17 January 2025 by our own field team, Alister and Alison, in Burton Bradstock, Dorset, this exceptional fossil has been professionally cleaned, prepped, and treated by Alison.

The specimen in the photos is the actual fossil you will receive. It is presented alongside a 1cm scale cube for size reference and was carefully selected for its scientific significance, preservation quality, and aesthetic appeal.
