Puzosia planulata is a member of the family Desmoceratidae and is recognised for its moderately involute coiling, smooth flanks with fine growth lines, and a gently curved whorl profile. This particular specimen shows classic features of the genus, with broad lateral flanks and minimal ribbing, presenting a beautifully preserved profile.
