This compact sea urchin fossil has been carefully cleaned, prepped, and treated by Alison, ensuring both structural stability and detailed presentation.

Regular echinoids are symmetrical sea urchins that thrived during the Cretaceous period, commonly found in marine sedimentary formations like those of Seaton. Their round, structured tests (shells) and organised tubercle patterns once supported a spiny covering, providing both defense and mobility in ancient marine environments.
