Sycostoma bulbus is an extinct marine gastropod species from the Eocene epoch, known for its compact, rounded shell and clearly defined whorls. These snails inhabited shallow seas during a warm phase of Earth’s history, and their fossils are a characteristic feature of the Barton Formation, one of the most fossiliferous marine Eocene units in the UK.
