Discovered in the historic Conesby Quarry, Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, England, this is a prime example of an iconic Jurassic ammonite.
Eparietites impendens is renowned for its large, coiled shell and distinctive ribbing. The macroconch form, often considered the female variant, is notably larger than its microconch counterpart.
